You will be accountable for creating a strategy to open up the market, sales growth, project management, and technical application of engineered products for heat trace products in the European commercial building market. This creates an amazing opportunity to determine your own strategy (together with the Manager, Business Development) and to execute these plans.You will work with the company's internal team across multiple manufacturing plants to manage projects from quotation/design stage to the purchase order / production stage. Through team leadership, research, marketing, and direct sales calls by you or the sales team, you increase revenue by generating new business opportunities.What You Will Do:
Map out the market and the key stakeholders in several countries within Europe, with a strong focus on the UK and France;Develop sales forecasts, territory potentials, territory analysis and collaborate with management in setting adequate sales quotas and goals;Work cross functionally with sales personnel for other business lines within the company to communicate with and about sales opportunities within the maker segment;Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders to better understand and achieve their needs in construction projects;Deliver product presentations and training;Develop and execute territory strategies, tactics, and plans;Assist the Channel Manager with identifying, acquiring, and onboarding a dedicated Distribution network for the market segment;Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, Representatives, and Distribution network;Maintain Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) with accurate sales opportunity/funnel tracking and use available information to leverage customers for all sales activities and opportunities;Execute territory-specific sales growth initiatives as determined by Senior Management;Identify and target key decision-makers to develop relationships at appropriate and varied levels across customer groups and organizations including but not limited to the following:
End user Engineers and Engineering Managers;End user field level, District or Regional Supervisors or Managers;End user Operations Supervisors and Managers;Architect and engineering firms, as applicable;Construction companies;Commercial distributors;Procurement staff for all of the above.
Maintain ethical business practices;Plan and work relevant trade shows;Provide technical expertise on the product line and applications;Provide feedback to Product Management and Marketing departments regarding product and marketing requirements;Other responsibilities as may be assigned by management from time to time.
